Bryon Jones (Guy's Producer): 'He didn’t win Australian Idol for nothing. He’s a phenomenal talent and he’s got incredible vocal stamina. That show is very intense and you’ve got to have something to get through. He’s a singer and the thing I’m pleased about with the album is that he gets to sing and it’s a singer’s record. His instinct for vocal parts and musical parts is very innate.'

David Caplice (Guy's Manager): 'It really struck me from the word go how musical he actually is. Rarely do we have new talent come in here with such a strong sense of music. I don’t think anyone in this whole process has any illusions about what this is - we all knew we were involved with a fantastically successful television program. To then be left with a genuine musical talent is a real bonus.'
