Letter To The Editor Of Woman's Day

Below is a letter to the editor of the magazine 'Womans Day' written by Francos Koutsoglannis from Sydney. It's a really awesome read which shows how nice and caring Guy really is!

What A Guy!

I was lucky enough to meet Australian Idol Guy Sebastian at the Sydney launch of his debut album. Guy had been signing autographs for more than two hours when the queue was cut short. I approached Guy's people and pleaded for an autograph. I'm battling a brain tumour and wanted to do what I could to make my Guy-crazy daughters happy whilst also teaching then an important lesson - that being famous doesn't mean you can't be kind. Guy stepped down from the stage to greet me and my daughters. He hugged me while I told him my story. Defying doctors' prognoses, I've survived, and celebrated my 40th birthday last month. What I remember the most fondly from my chance encounter with a pop star is the way he looked into my eyes - there was no pity. Guy, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Keep those beautiful eyes shining and please, listen to you heart - don't ever change.

Francos Koutsogiannis,
